Did you know that Quokkas are called the ‘Happiest Animal in the World’ ?! Check out our smiles!! Although we are classified by the IUCN as a Vulnerable species, which is very sad. Where we are found on mainland SW Australia, we face predation by foxes and feral cats, habitat degradation, bushfire and roadkill. Our cousins over on Rottnest Island are a little more stable in numbers, however they have less genetic diversity. We are very luck to live safely here at Caversham Wildlife Park.
